Baking with Ananya update!! (Granola on Saturday)

Image
Hi Guys!! Welcome back. Here's an update on my cooking class, Learn to bake with Ananya! Our next class will be hosted on Saturday on Google Meet. I will send the link to join on Friday. If the device that you are joining with is a phone, tablet or iPad, please make sure that you have installed the Google Meet app. Also please try to RSVP in the Learn to Bake Group Chat. The item we are making is Maple granola. This is a really simple recipe that I enjoy making with my dad (who is the one who introduced me this awesome recipe.) There are many variations to granola, you can add coconut ( I love this) or add more maple syrup or a stronger maple taste. (I really love this. Note if you choose to do this, I suggest cutting the brown sugar completely.) You can even mix in a handful of dried cranberries or chocolate chips.  Flyer below for more details. Without further ado here is the list of supplies and ingredients you will need for Saturday! Supplies: Large mixing bowl Spatula (I prefe...

The benefits of walking!

Image
Hi guys, welcome back!! If you didn't read my introduction blog make sure to check it out. Anyway, today I went on a walk in my neighborhood with my dad at 9:30 am. Walking is one of my favorite forms of exercise, as it is so easy and fun. There are many benefits from walking such as improvement of the skeletal and respiratory (bone, hearth/ lungs) systems.  Improving your health is very beneficial but I also find that walking improves your mood. If you find yourself bored, get up and go on a walk!! Just 15 minutes of walking every day can greatly improve your daily lifestyle. Remember to practice social distancing and stay 6 feet apart. That's it for this post, I hope you learned something new!!                                                           XOXO, Ananya

Things you can expect in my blog: Updates on my new online cooking class hosted on Google Meet Movie and Book recommendations  Awesome recipes (mostly for smoothies and baking) Some my latest artwork and art tutorials And much more to come... Also I need to change that fig picture on the home page even though it looks super cool. Thanks you guys so much for reading my first blog, it was really fun to write this. Stay tuned for more posts.                        ...
